FoxPro Development Tools from HalloGram Publishing:

CrystalCOMM

The PC modem communication library for Windows.

CrystalCOMM for Windows provides the XMODEM, XMODEM CRC, XMODEM-1K, True YMODEM, YMODEM/Batch, ZMODEM, Streaming KERMIT, CompuServe B+, the CRYSTAL proprietary protocol, the TAP electronic pager protocol, the VISA protocol for credit card transactions, and ASCII communication protocols and functions for the standard PC modem interface.

The library allows you to simply move characters through a COM interface, to develop scripts to communicate between client and host, or to take advantage of the built-in protocols within the library to communicate through a modem. The library enables the developer to build custom versions of file transfer facilities, remote host control capability, electronic messaging, electronic mail, bulletin board systems, remote data or file access, and related communication interfaces.

CrystalCOMM can also encrypt the communications stream so that the communication path is secured. CrystalCOMM contains a database of modems so you can easily integrate your product with a variety of modems. CrystalCOMM is also integrated with the DigiBoard 2, 4 and 8 port intelligent and non-intelligent boards and Windows driver so that you can send and receive on 9 channels concurrently.
