FoxFix is a royalty-free FoxPro library to monitor and repair damage that may occur to data files after machine crashes or network errors on both stand-alone and networked systems.

A single workstation crash or failure can result in a corrupted open database or memo file header. Workstations logging in and attempting to access this corrupted file will get a "not a database" error. At this time, the FoxFix library can be engaged, even if other users are still in the database!

The FoxFix DBF() single function requires the full name of the database file to repair. FoxFix automatically detects the presence of associated files (FPT memo and CDX index) and repairs the header accordingly if instructed (DBF and FPT only). Other data files can be processed such as VCX, SCX, PJX, etc.
